St Margaret's Church, Bagendon. 12th Century. Grade One Listed.
Described by www.britainexpress.com - "It is hard to imagine a more idyllic country church than St Margaret's Bagendon. The location is pure magic, one of the loveliest spots in the Cotswolds."
It is astonishing how fast the summer is slipping by and although it is only early August already we are thinking of the autumn.
The young buzzards are making a great deal of noise, mewling loudly, as they learn to master the thermals and every evening the swifts and swallows do acrobatics in the sky, preparing to leave.
So far this year nearly 80% of our guests have stayed here before - some for seven years running ! It is lovely to have old friends back - but there are still a few nights in October and November free - It would be great to make more new friends too.
The New Border is filling out.
