St Margaret's Church, Bagendon. 12th Century. Grade One Listed.
Described by www.britainexpress.com - "It is hard to imagine a more idyllic country church than St Margaret's Bagendon. The location is pure magic, one of the loveliest spots in the Cotswolds."
We've had the first white frosts and autumn really is here now. After the brown of the summer the grass is lush and green again which sets off the autmn foliage, the roses in their second bloom and the sweet peas that continue to flower and flower. The colours are wonderful and after all that rain the light is so clrisp and clear.
The damson are weighing down the branches and the apples and medlars look almost too perfect to pick!
Help celebrate - enjoy a long weekend at Bagendon with an autumn 'special' of three weekend nights for the price of two. You'll love it!
